Downloading and Installing New Modules in Drupal
It is pretty easy to install new modules into your Drupal site. Before installing anything you should create a couple of folders on your computer as well as on your host’s server. On your computer, add a Modules and a Themes folder in your \drupal\sites\all folder. On your host server, do the same thing.
Anytime you want to add a module or a theme, download the file to wherever you would like on your computer, (for instructions on how to download/extract files, see the Download/Extract files page), then extract the file into the Modules or Themes folder depending on what you downloaded.
Then, upload the files to your host’s server (for instructions on how to do that, see the FileZilla instructions and/or the Drupal download instructions). As soon as you do that, the module should appear immediately in the Sitebuilding-Modules page.
